The recent single rocked, I love Space Cat, and that cute postmodern Japanese influenced artwork on the cover looks brilliant. High hopes Mr. Spacecat, so I sit down with my trusty stash and sit back. Hell-ium is straight in there, with that big organic energy kick that Avi manages so well and has become characteristic of his sound.

Hewtekk is a nice danceathon, with some good energy again, and Armageddon featuring DJ Lestat (Talamasca) is superb – pumping with plenty of elements of both producers, bags of attitude and an addictive set of melodies phasing in and out.

Power Up, that recent single that rocked as mentioned above, is the standout track and with that luvly high-end vox melody stealing the show it’s one of the biggest tunes so far this year.

Closing the album, Latdino featuring Dino Psaras is tech house with some nice progressive stabs, kind of a disappointing end to an album that fails to live up to expectations.

It’s alright – Space Cat does what he does best – but we know he can do it better. Something somewhere appears to have gotten misplaced.
