Magnetrixx Zig Zagg / Tohuwabohu Sha ka Ree (Germany)

The nightmare of every dyslexic DJ returns with a couple of tasters from the new album. Zig Zagg builds nicely from nothingness, with a sweet warm bass taking care of the bottom end. Things progress neatly, without a busting amount of noticeable change, up to a sweet as hell vocal hook – it’s standout, very individual, distinctive, and it sounds wicked. Tohuwabohu goes deeper, with jazzy touches and shows a more melodic side to Magnetrixx than we’ve sen previously. Nice escalation, with plenty of surprises on the way to a clean breakdown, and then riding off into the sunset with a grin on its face. A nice release whichever way you look at it.
