Before this years well-received Fly album, Mino cut Metallic Universe for Phantasm. And here it is again, re-released with tons of extras on a bonus CD that features all the gap-brigding stuff between Metallic Universe and Fly, together with a Quicktime video (which I actually couldnt get to work but then my PC is one step above a Dragon 32). Minos style is gnarly and edgy, with a strongly metallic vibe (er hence the name), and while the tunes here represent the first-wave of evolution that took us to Fly, it still sounds fresh by todays standards and is well worth a look if youre addicted to the sound.
