Infected Mushroom & Berry Sakharof Birthday Yo-Yo / BNE (Israel)

I suppose when you think about it, Hebrew pop has never been more than a couple of steps away from Israeli trance. And now it’s finally happened. Infected Mushroom are almost the house band for Berry Sakharof to sing what I suppose is a nice pop number, in Hebrew so I have no idea what it’s about. Still, it’s alright, it would probably do rather well in the Eurovision Song Contest and I expect I’ll play it with a few friends over after we get back from the pub. Statik Dancin’ rules, it’s Infected in funk-rock daft punk territory, a neat and new sound with some cute vocodes over a larger than life analog trance backbone. Deeply Disturbed is more psychedelic, very clear trance with nice sounds and one of the biggest snarls of the year, destined for good dancefloor play.
