12 Moons Invisible Light / Clairvoyance Spiral Trax (Sweden)

I’ve been caning this one since it came in, and it was in danger of sliding into the collection before a review made it out. So, late again I gotta apologise, but this is a breath of fresh air (and in more ways than one.) Invisible Light hangs together like a stellar mobile above your bed: the sounds are perfectly balanced, the progression through the tune is a soaring celebration it certainly gets your heart fluttering and the hairs on the back of your neck standing up. One hugely sublime breakdown later, and the trance vitamins kick in with a joyous rideout stomp to take you home. Clairvoyance is more of the same, with a sweet über-melody driving a chuggy and layered electric backbone up to those same heights of sonic bliss. Miss it at your peril.
