Sound Sorcery

Inspired by the super party of the same name, comes this release from Mexico's Sound Sorcery records. This is a compilation of tracks from the very cream of the full-on scene, and no doubt you'll hear most of these tracks at a party near you soon, if you haven't already. Two released and seven unreleased tracks from all of the usual culprits - GMS, Absolum, Alien Project, Logic Bomb, etc. None of the tracks really drift far from the artist's respective styles, so don't expect any Mexican revolutionaries here. Stand out tracks for me would be from long time Alien Project collaborator Astrix, with Kali, a hard storming track in the new Isreali style, and Saikopod's Tron, who always sound fresh to me. Extra kudos to the Sound Sorcery guys for including a CD case insert with their digipak! This is a great idea and I hope a lot of other labels follow this trend. -Tom- 3
