Notorious for their fresh take on trance-fusion (ho ho), Ticon are a well-respected name and this doublepack of remixes is set to enhance their reputation even further. We Are Mammoth Hunters gets the remix treatment from Atmos and P-Woland, the former being a wicked assault on the senses. It starts deep and using flecks of the original and adding layers in the way only he knows how, to really grab you and fling you about the room. Massive dancefloor potential, with a deep fat organic groove to it. P-Woland serves up a more technoid interpretation that picks up the pace nicely and fits smoothly in the mix. Atmos takes the wheel again with a take on Lo Mi Hi that's krunchy, fluid and with wicked, perfectly-placed stabs. It's a heavier side of Atmos, and it's unique - it just comes alive in a very strange and fresh way. Aircrash Bureau's pop at the same tune is a progressive one, more clubby but a jolly good footshuffler for the more varied dancefloors out there.
