Aiwana Remixes - Digital Structures

Featured on lat year’s superlative Perspectives Of... album, Aiwana has made quite an impct over recent months, and hence the chaps at Digital Structures release this 4-track EP and CD Single to showcase some of the broad-based remix talent that’s out there at the moment to work their magic. Switzerland’s rising progressive star DJ Nukemdelivers a positive clubby remix, it has a fair bit of crossover potential for the likes of Sasha and Cass, with a nice progressive atmosphere and sparse, desolate stabs leading to a nice, restrained breakdown. Son Kite provide their own re-interpretive Flow Mix, a real glistening delight with psyhedelic stabs over the smoothest, cleanest glass-like trance backbone, realy raising the euphoria-quotient throughout it’s blissful nine minutes. Add to this the original mix from the album, and the downbeat interpretation from the Chillosophy album, and you have something for everybody.

Pleasenote we're less than excited about top 10's featuring nothing but unreleased cuts. Very well done for having access to unreleased DAT traded exclusive had-a-spliff-with-the-producers tracks, we're very impressed but we'd have a preference for Top 10's that most of us can have access to hear them. That said, this week Naryan from Belgium contributes a nice, varied, honest (and released!) top 10! Cheers!
