No Exit / Aeromode -

Following on from last month’s Paste 12", here Boshke Beats unleash Midi Milz to further establish the label’s reputation for mad, up for it party stompers. No Exit is a frantic piece of techno-trance, with shifting sounds warping around a steady rhythm section and a building, piercing whine over the top. It may be too techno-ey for some, but you can see this one tearing up some of the more acidy dancefloors out there. Aeromode is harsh as fuck, in-ya-face techno that’s got more snarling teeth than a nightmare werewolf, and has the vibe of the evil dead chasing you down a stormy fire-walled tunnel. Well that’s what it did for me anyway.
