Zerotonine Cygnus Loops Global Trance Network (Germany)

With the rise of the new minimal sound, I find I tire out rapidly from the excess of the more uplifting progressive sounds. Sometimes I like to listen to harder, darker music. Music that brings back memories of the dark industrial night clubs I use to go to. This is, for me, when releases like Zerotonine are perfect. This is the dark, hard sounds I want to hear at night. My favourites would be Moneypenny, a hard hypnotic track that rips you with funky sounds that will turn the dancefloor into a storm, and the dark, psychedelic Medusa's breath, with nice doppler and panning effects to draw you in and hold you there. Definitely one of the better dark minimal releases. (8/10) TJ
